Prices and Booking

All our 13 luxurious rooms are unique and full of charm, character and understated elegance. They vary in size and outlook and we have categorised and priced them accordingly below - all are more special than the average and provide a wonderful base from which to enjoy the city.

Booking is easy, all you need to do is give us a call on +44 (0)1904 638733 or email at info@judgeslodgings.com, telling us when you would like to stay and then we'll confirm availability and take just a few details including your credit/debit card details in order to guarantee your booking and then look forward to meeting you when you arrive!

Single Bedroom - £80 Sun-Thurs. £90 Fri-Sat (Room 4; Room 14)
Our single bedrooms are compact but elegant, beautifully finished and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Standard or Twin Bedroom - £90 Sun-Thurs. £150 Fri-Sat (Room 8; Room 10; Room 12)
At the Judges Lodgings Hotel our standard rooms are our smaller rooms; however they are still beautifully individual, furnished and equipped in luxurious style.

Superior Bedroom - £115 Sun-Thurs. £175 Fri-Sat (Room 1; Room 5; Room 6; Room 7)
These lovely rooms are all in the main house and have either king size or superkingsize beds. There is some variation in size, style and outlook - from a characterful room on the top floor with unusual vaulted cornicing and a Minster view, to a grand room on the first floor with panelled walls, original shutters and fireplace with views out over the courtyard garden to the street beyond.

Deluxe Bedroom or Suite - £135 Sun-Thurs. £195 Fri-Sat (Room 3; Room 9; Room 11)
From a luxurious room in the main house with superkingsize bed, Minster view, huge jacuzzi bath and separate Grohe "rainshower", to a spacious superkingsize bedroom with adjoining living room furnsihed with a comfortable sofabed, overlooking the 18th century cobbles of the courtyard - these special rooms are ideal for honeymoons and celebrations, or simply if you are looking for a bit more space.

Deluxe Studio - £145 Sun-Thurs. £230 Fri-Sat (Room 2)
This magnificent room is the best in the house with a Minster view, 7 foot four poster bed, living area and luxury bathroom.

Terms and Conditions

  • All room rates are per room per night. All room rates includes full Yorkshire breakfast and VAT at the current rate.
  • At certain peak times (for example when york race days fall during the week) a two night minimum stay will be applicable. Rooms are available for your arrival from 3:00 pm.
  • Check-out time is 11.00 am on the morning of departure. We are happy to securely store your luggage if required.
  • All areas of the hotel are strictly no smoking and we cannot accept pets, except guide dogs.
  • All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit/debit card valid at the date of the start of your stay.
  • Because of the small scale of our operation, if you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of your stay, with regret you will be charged in full for your stay.
  • We may pre-authorise your credit/debit card, but you are welcome to pay by another method at check out.
  • Please be aware that all rooms are reached via a flight of stairs. We will be very happy to provide assistance with luggage if required.
  • Please be aware that this is an grade 1 listed building in a city centre location and there is no double glazing and so a certain amount of noise (including the Minster bells!) is unfortunately unavoidable.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any area of the hotel and charges will be made for contravention of this rule.
