By Road:
Click on the highlighted square area of the map for more detailed directions of the road system as you approach York.
Most Sat Nav equipment will only get you to Museum Street (even if you type in the correct postcode).
However, you will need to carry on from Museum Street and enter the one way pedestrian zone via Blake Street.
You must then continue into St. Helens Square. You will see Betty's ahead and you must turn right across the square in front of Bettys.
You must then turn right again in front of the Mansion House.
You will then be on Lendal and you will see the trees in our forecourt of the hotel to your
right.
For drivers this requires careful negotiation as this area is a
pedestrian precinct like most in the centre of York.
Guests of the Judges Lodgings have been granted special
permission to enter these streets, provided they follow these instructions.
From York Station:
A pleasant 5 minute walk: Turn left out of the station towards the Minster. Cross the river via Lendal Bridge. At the Museum Gardens turn right into Lendal. Judges Lodgings is 50 yards on the left. Alternatively, take one of the readily available taxis for a two minute journey.
